Crowd-sourcing dialogue data collection and evaluating spoken dialogue systems using crowd-sourcing paradigms
I am a Ph.D student at University of Southern California. I work as a Graduate Assistant in Natural Language Dialogue Group at Institute for Creative Technologies. I am being advised by Prof. Kallirroi Georgila and Prof. David DeVault. I love building dialogue systems for real world users and applications. My research is focused on studying intricacies involved in developing real-time conversing dialogue systems.
I spent Summer 2017 and 2016 interning at Adobe Inc as NLP research intern working on speechifying Adobe applications. I spent my 2015 Summer in Bielefeld, Germany. I was working with Prof. David Schlangen and his amazing group.I was working as a Research Assistant under Prof. Timothy Bickmore. at Relational Agents Group from August 2011 to May 2013.

Internet throws various challenges and at the same time provides a great platform to take our research to the masses.
Understanding 'real' human speech in real time and incrementally is tough and challenging! This can only mean more fun!
I love building Virtual humans that can tell stories and motivate people to change their behavior!
Just started working on Humans and Agents sharing knowledge to grow mutually and reap mutual benefits!
