Hypothetical interviewer: So, should the internet speak ? Is it better than text ?
Ramesh: Yes, the web should speak. It is not better than text.
Hypothetical interviewer: So, why should the internet speak ?
Ramesh: Because it is cool and it opens up a platform for building all sort of new applications.
Hypothetical interviewer: Such as ?
Ramesh: Imagine an interactive speaking agent over the web which is speaking with you as you try to learn a new skill. It also opens up a platform for developing all sorts of applications and games which can use speech and video as another modality.
